A Transaction PIN is required every time you send money, request money, withdraw funds, make a payment, close your account or change any information in your AlertPay account. This is an extra level of security to protect your account and personal information.
If you have forgotten your Transaction PIN, please follow these instructions to reset it:
1. Login to your AlertPay account.
2. Click on "Profile".
3. Under "Personal", click on "Transaction PIN".
4. Click on "Forgot your Transaction PIN?" and follow the instructions.
If your bank is located outside of Canada/US:
Once you have created the deposit transaction in your AlertPay account, you are required to initiate a transfer to our account with your bank. Our banking information and the instructions on how to send the funds were given on the last step of the transaction. For all banking deposits done through banks outside the US and Canada, AlertPay does not pull the funds; rather, the funds are transferred to us by our users.
To view the banking information to which you are required to send the funds, please log into your AlertPay account and follow these steps:
1. Click on Profile
2. Under Financial, click Bank Accounts
3. For the bank account you've added, click on Deposit Instructions
4. You are then required to create a payment with your bank using this information.
We should receive your deposit and credit it to your AlertPay account within 2-5 business days.
IMPORTANT: Keep note of the bank deposit code provided. When you're sending the payment you are required to provide this number along with your transfer. This ensures the correct AlertPay account is credited. Your bank deposit code is 13 digits long and begins with 34. This code must be included in the 'Details' or 'Reference' area of your bank transfer. Ensure that no additional details are added in this area (e.g.: don't add "The bank deposit code is 34...") as the information will be cut off during the transfer and processing time will increase; only the number itself is required.
If you do not see the funds in your AlertPay account after the 5 business days, please contact us by sending a support ticket. When we respond, we will ask you to provide scan of your bank receipt or a screenshot of the transaction if the transaction was completed online with your bank. This information is forwarded to our banking department for review. The proof of the transaction will need to contain the following information:
1. Your full name as it appears on the bank account
2. Name of your bank
3. Account number deposit was made to (AlertPay's account)
4. The amount of the transfer
5. Date of transfer
